She found her love for aerial arts shortly before moving to NYC and hasn’t stopped training and performing in aerial arts and as stunt artist since! She currently teaches classes at Aerial Arts NYC, Body and Pole, The Muse, and Om Factory. She has performed as an aerialist and dancer with ImaginAerial, Cirque Central, Smash Entertainment, Phoenix Entertainment, MIXT Dance, AERA, The Seduction of the Scorpion Queen, and at venues such as The Slipper Room, Galapagos Art Space, The House of Yes, The Santa Monica Pier, and at Hershey Park. She recently won second place in the Silks Division for the International U.S.Aerial Championships. She recently received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification at Atmananda Yoga Studio in New York.

Lisa Benner came to yoga shortly after she discovered pilates, and found she was able to use both to correct and improve different physical issues, including chronic headaches. For a long while she practiced both, but yoga won her heart. She graduated from Sonic Yoga’s 200 hour Teacher Training program, Hathavidya’s 500 hour training, as well as Hathavidya’s 1000 hour program. She teaches at various locations and in teacher trainings in New York, across the country and internationally. Her teachings come from the Hatha philosophy in the Vinyasa style, creating each class on a theme, and incorporating pranayama, mantra and meditation. Strong attention is given to alignment. She greatly honored to be able to share the transformations that yoga brings, to teach and to continue to learn.
